mountains from bone

blood hazing rivers

rot, coal-deep, in tissue

grew rough egg polyps

The stone truckles trickled

where sharp echos chipped

deep as loose seeds

they sprouted block heads

grated as metal on teeth

loosing breath on chill

Maggot plump flowers

undulated, black petalled

turgid as knotted muscle

they ate rock, diamond

rooted fat-gristle tumours

split, desiccated grit cysts

pooted, hard, dwarfs
