Transcript of The Return Call I Made

to the Wrong Number That Called Me

Hello. Hi.

I’m the number you called,

although I get that I’m not who you wanted.

I just want to let you know I’m not mad.

If I was short with you I’m the one who should be sorry.

You didn’t need to be so apologetic;

it was obvious you had a lot on your mind.

I don’t know Jen. Like I told you

on the phone, there’s no Jen here.

For all our sakes, I’m just hoping

you were able to get her on the line.

If you can’t reach her, or if she doesn’t

want to talk, don’t worry.

Your secret is safe with me.
